Step 1:
Initial Consultation

This is a relaxed 20–30 minute chat, either online or over the phone.

​

We’ll talk about:

  • What you’d like support with

  • Which approach might suit you best & the type of therapy I offer

  • Any questions or concerns you have

​

It’s also a good chance for you to have a sense of me, and to get a feel for how I work.

Step 2:
Your First Session

We’ll begin with gentle conversation, getting a sense of what you'd like support with. This involves solution-focused psychotherapy.

We then move into a calming hypnosis designed to support positive changes in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.


Sessions are available in-person (East Bristol) or online.

Step 3:
Ongoing Support

Therapy typically starts weekly, but can move to fortnightly or monthly, depending on what feels right for you.

 

You’re in control of the pace and process.

​

There is no "set" amount of sessions, it really depends on you and how you feel the therapy is benefitting.

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy?

Solution-focused hypnotherapy can be transformational.

 

This therapy offers you a tool for life - supporting you to achieve the positive changes you seek in your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

 

Clients are often surprised by how fast-acting this therapy can be; we create an empowering container for you to feel better in your self, your life and your relationships.​

 

Hypnotherapy combines both psychotherapy (talking therapy) and relaxing hypnosis - a relaxed state of awareness, in which you are always completely in control - to help you overcome the challenges in your life and empower you to move forwards.​

 

You can think of it a bit like therapeutic coaching, in which I create a safe container for you to get to root of the issues bothering you and support you in exploring how you would like things to be, how you would like things to change. This is a solution focused approach, and we explore this in a way that feels authentic and beneficial for you - within yourself, your relationships and your life.

Unlike other traditional analytical therapies, the focus is less orientated around the issues of your past and instead more on how you would like to feel and how you would like things to be, positively reframing your future.

 

One of the reasons I am endlessly passionate and value this work so highly is because I see the powerful results, every single day.

 

This approach can be a highly effective and offers a transformational way to work together.​ We know this, not only from the clinical evidence which backs up shows us how impactful SF hypnotherapy can be, but also anecdotally. My clients feedback weekly how many improvements they feel: whether that's in noticing they have greater self-esteem; or learning to think more positively and worrying less; or changing unhelpful behaviours or patterns from the past; or they see improvements in their relationships. 

 

My therapeutic approach is based on the latest neuroscience research, and includes elements of solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), neuro-linguistic programming, gentle evidence-based trauma processing methods, clinical hypnosis (trance) and relaxation for both your mind and nervous system.

What is Therapeutic Yoga & Somatic Movement?

These one-to-one sessions are for those who feel disconnected, stuck in stress, or want to feel more at ease in their body.

You don’t need to be “good at yoga.” These sessions are about nervous system healing and gentle reconnection - not flexibility or performance.

 

A typical session includes:

  • Emotional + physical check-in

  • Somatic movement (slow, intentional, grounding)

  • Breathwork for safety, balance, or energy

  • Guided relaxation (yoga nidra) to restore and reset

 

This work can support:

  • Chronic stress or burnout

  • Anxiety, fatigue, or hormonal imbalances

  • Releasing tension held in the body

  • Feeling more at home in yourself
